About us
Meet Alfie and George
Two Bridlington roofers who trained properly, take pride in the job and look after their customers.
Who we are
A & G Roofing is Alfie and George. Both live in Bridlington, both are NVQ qualified in roofing, and in 2024 both made the national final of SkillBuild, the UK’s biggest construction skills competition, in roof slating and tiling.
We do residential and commercial roofing across East Yorkshire, from Scarborough down the coast to Hornsea, and inland to Driffield, Beverley, Hull and York. Being local matters to us: these are our neighbours’ roofs, and we want people to recommend us to theirs.
We keep things simple. We’ll come and look at your roof for free, then send you a quotation. There’s no deposit, you pay when the job’s done, and all our work is guaranteed.

Two roofers. Both national finalists.
SkillBuild is run by CITB and is the UK’s largest construction skills competition. In 2024, over 1,000 participants took part in 19 regional qualifiers across 10 trades, and only the highest scorers in each trade went through to the national final at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes.
Alfie and George both made the final in roof slating and tiling, building a test roof under the eyes of expert judges from the NFRC, the roofing industry’s trade body.
